Dr. Heather Ellis
Hello! I’m Dr Heather Ellis of Family Nutrition and Chiropractic. The practice of Chiropractic is not just about adjusting the back or neck, it’s a much deeper practice of working with your body to understand your health issues, helping your body heal, and once healed to keep your body in a positive state of wellness.
General
Dr. Ellis grew up in a Texas rural upbringing. She participated in high school sports and many extracurricular activities. Undergraduate study consisted of a Pre-med Biology tract, earning a BS in Biology from University of Texas at San Antonio. After pursing a Masters degree, she moved ahead to obtain her doctorate in chiropractic (DC) from Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after receiving her doctorate Dr. Heather Ellis met her husband Thomas in Fort Worth. Together they have a beautiful 10 year old, Willow and a 7 year old, Noble. Six years of a successful practice in Corpus Christi, TX has led to opening her own practice in Cleburne, TX, her husbands hometown, in 2015.

Webster Certification - The Webster technique is a specific Chiropractic analysis and adjustment with the goal to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation. The technique is especially useful in the care of pregnant women, as a sacral subluxation can often contribute to a difficult labor or breech postition of the baby. The Webster Technique does not involve any type of moving of the baby itself, as with the external version procedure, and is absolutely safe and has a very high success rate of 75 - 95%
